Lyndsey, 2013 Senior Model Rep {Brighton Senior Photographer}

It was a super busy last week, but it was fun meeting Lyndsey and her mom, Lisa. I love getting to know my clients, but especially my reps. I tend to talk too much, or so I’ve been told, so my sessions that start off to be 30 minutes end up taking an hour and a half or so, and I know it’s because I love to chat! But I really enjoy getting to know these kids and all about their lives. Anyhow, sorry Lyndsey if I got sidetracked at times, lol, but I know you are going to have a very bright future as a teacher. I am happy to have Lyndsey on board as a 2013 Senior Model Rep from Brighton High School. She will be handing out referral cards at school next week, so be sure to grab one to get some freebies when you book your senior session for this summer. Hunter, 2013 Senior Model Rep {Byron Senior Photographer}

I love my job. I have said this too many times to count, but getting to photograph those people that I have known for many years, kids now young adults, makes me so happy. Hunter’s family and I have been friends for years, so I remember him as a little guy running around with his cousins, actually following them around because he was the youngest. He was always a little quieter, a bit more shy, at least when I was around. This makes me laugh because his parents are so not this way…(I love you Julia and Chuck) They raised some super nice, respectable kids, which does reflect on who they truly are. Anyhow, I am just so honored that they chose me for to capture their daughter Alyssa’s senior portraits this past year and now Hunter’s, and to have him on board as a senior model rep for me, is icing on the cake. Kaitlyn 2012 Senior Canton High School {Senior Photography)

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kaitlyn, from Canton High School, last week. She graduates in a few weeks, but I was thrilled to get her in and capture some beautiful images for her. It was a super windy day and every few minutes I said a prayer to mother nature begging her for a few breaks in order to get some shots without having her hair going crazy. It was a fun session and even though the clouds quickly came over us and lightning struck at the end of our session, we had a great time and I captured some stunning shots. Meet Jordan Musson, Linden High School {Linden, Michigan Senior Photographer}

I am thrilled to announce our first 2013 Senior Model Rep, Jordan Musson, who attends Linden High School. I planned on only having a couple of reps this year and I was so happy that Jordan applied. I went to school with her mother, Lori Rinz Musson, so it was great to catch up with Lori and see what a genuinely good hearted daughter she raised. They have such a close and open relationship that any mother would be envious of. I look forward to working with both of them throughout the year. Congratulations Alyssa Taylor {Byron Senior Photographer)

I just got the news that my 2012 Senior Model Rep, Alyssa Taylor, from Byron High School, was named Valedictorian for her class!! This is fantastic news and I am super proud of this beautiful young lady. She happens to be the daughter of my dear friends, Julia and Chuck, and I know that they are happy and proud, too. Congratulations Alyssa! I know that whatever path you take, success will follow!

2013 Senior Model Search /High School Senior Photographer

Finally, we are announcing our 2013 Senior Model Search! I am a little behind in posting this, but I am hoping I can get some more great new models who will represent my studio in the best way. Our program has changed just a bit and I am excited to get this season rolling. Here’s the scoop:

Who can apply?

If you are a current junior in high school or know of someone who is, please fill out our application right away, so you can be considered. Our rep program is so easy – all you have to do is pass on our studio’s name to your friends and acquaintences, and then when they book a session with us, YOU get credit for it!

Do I have to pay to be a rep?

You do not pay anything other than the normal session fee. You choose what type of session you want for your full senior session, and then whatever that fee is, you pay that up front when you are accepted as a rep. Visit my senior website and click on the INFO tab to find out the types of sessions I offer, http://www.karinagphotography.com Basically you pay the same as any other senior client, however, that fee will be credited back to you once you refer 5 paying clients to us. So for example, let’s say you choose our Combo session for $175. Pay that now, spread the word & show off your model pics, and refer your friends to us, and once they book a session, that counts towards your 5 referrals. When you reach the 5th referral, that $175 gets credited to your final print order! Just for referring people to our studio! Anything after that 5th referral counts as an additional $25 credit on top! You could potentially earn your senior portraits for free!

What do I get as a senior model rep?

First and foremost, you will have a free mini photo session here at our studio in the very near future, so that we can create some images for our marketing material. This is what you will then show off to your friends at school until the end of the school year and all summer long. Our sessions are always fun and unique. You will also receive a few Facebook images to use as your profile picture. You will also receive a studio t-shirt and other cool marketing materials exclusive to our models, and depending on how many referrals you have, you may qualify for a “too cool for words” prize. Most importantly, you will have some fantastic senior portraits that you will be happy to share!

How do I apply?

If all the above sounds good to you, then we would love to hear from you! I only ask that the most serious applicants apply – meaning, if you really want to earn your portraits (who doesn’t want to save a buck nowadays), and you know you can do a great job and really work it, then YES, I want you. Our models have fun, but in order to get the extra perks, they have to work it!

Parents will need to sign a contract as well, and believe me, as a parent, we do not like to be surprised. But make sure you let them know that the best perk of being a rep is that you get to help them with the final cost of your senior portraits. A WIN-WIN situation!

A New Blog
